Lareena is a compassionate clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who has been providing therapy in a wide range of NGO, hospital and tertiary education settings for over 15 years to young people and adults.

Lareena is experienced in treating a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, interpersonal problems, and grief and loss.
She has a particular interest in working with people affected by adoption and donor conception, having worked at the Post Adoption Resource Centre for a number of years, and her Master’s thesis explored the relationship between adoption, attachment and psychological wellbeing.

Lareena is also an ANZAED credentialed eating disorder clinician, and has a special interest in treating clients living in larger bodies, including those with Binge Eating Disorder and atypical Anorexia Nervosa, and neurodiverse clients who struggle with disordered eating patterns.

She adopts a non-judgmental, supportive style in working with her clients, drawing on elements of CBT, CBT-E, DBT, ACT and Schema Therapy depending on the needs of the client. She has recently undertaken further training in ADHD and is accepting referrals for adult ADHD assessments.

Lareena is available for appointments at Mindright Bondi Junction on Mondays and Tuesdays. She also provides appointments via Telehealth to clients unable to attend in person.
