Sally is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with a calm and collaborative style. She aims to provide a safe and hopeful space for clients to explore their difficult experiences, work towards their goals, and thrive. She is committed to working with each client to tailor therapy to their needs.

Sally provides therapy for children and adolescents experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, emotion dysregulation, and behaviour difficulties. When working with young people and their families, Sally works from an attachment-focused framework, and incorporates a variety of therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Sally particularly enjoys providing support to parents and caregivers with evidence-based parenting interventions. She is a certified facilitator of the Tuning Into Teens program for parents.

Sally provides therapy to adults experiencing issues such as anxiety, OCD, depression, low self-esteem, adjustment to stressful life events, and bereavement. In this work, she draws on a variety of therapy modalities, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and Schema Therapy, and she uses the neuroscience of attachment, stress, and trauma to inform her therapy.
Sally has a special interest in assisting women and their families in the perinatal period as they adjust to the various challenges of becoming parents. She has received specialised training and supervision from Gidget Foundation Australia in this area, and she continues to work part of her time for that organisation. Sally also enjoys supporting young people and adults with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) to understand their strengths and difficulties, and in supporting these individuals and their families with any associated emotional and behavioural difficulties. She has completed specialised training the assessment and treatment of ADHD.

Sally has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (UNSW), Master of Clinical Psychology (UNSW), and a PhD in Psychology (University of Melbourne). She has gained her clinical experience in a range of settings, including university clinics, outpatient hospital and community settings, and not-for-profit organisations (Black Dog Institute, Gidget Foundation Australia). Sally is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority and is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association.

Sally is available for appointments at Mindright Bondi Junction on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
