Michelle is a clinical psychologist and founder of Mindright. She has more than 15 years of experience in clinical psychology and specialises in providing therapy to adults, teenagers, children, families and couples.
Michelle completed her clinical psychology training at the University of Sydney where she also completed a PhD under National Scholarship. Michelle has worked in private practice for the past 12 years. Prior to working in private practice, she worked as a clinical psychologist in an acute mental health setting treatment complex presentations.
Michelle focuses on providing clients with a warm and engaging space to be able to process their difficulties and learn effective tools for improving where things are at for them. She has a particular interest in working with a number of varied presentations including (but not limited to) perinatal depression and anxiety, complex adolescent difficulties including risk of harm, couple therapy, adult and child depression and anxiety and family separation and/or stress.
Michelle practices cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as well as dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema therapy, motivation enhancement therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Michelle works at our Lane Cove practice on a Thursday and at Bondi Junction on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
