Michelle is an experienced clinical psychologist and Director of Mindright. She is passionate about excellence in psychological healthcare and has a great reputation for being trustworthy, open minded and connected.

Michelle has 20 years of experience in clinical psychology and specialises in providing therapy to adults, teenagers and children. She completed her clinical psychology training at the University of Sydney where she also completed a PhD under National Scholarship. Michelle has worked in private practice for the past 15 years and before that worked as a clinical psychologist in an acute mental health setting treating complex presentations.

Knowing that the therapeutic relationship is often key to the success of therapy, Michelle has a warm and relaxed therapeutic style helping clients to feel comfortable to process their difficulties and learn effective tools for long term improvement. She has a particular interest in working with a number of varied presentations including (but not limited to) perinatal depression and anxiety, complex adolescent difficulties including risk of harm, couple therapy, adult and child depression and anxiety and family separation and/or stress. When working with children and adolescents, Michelle works with both the child and the parents to ensure maximum improvement and reduced risk of relapse.

She practices cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Michelle works at Bondi Junction on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
